WEBSITES FOR INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES

Websites for independent businesses.
Clear from the start.

You need a website that tells customers what you do, where you work and how to reach you. I'm Kevin from KD Webdesign, and I build WordPress websites for independent professionals, startups and small businesses.

FOR YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BUSINESS

Make it easy to understand what you do.

Your website is often a first check: does this business exist, can it help me and can I reach someone? We start with your offer, your customers' questions and one clear contact action. Your website complements social media and gives your services and contact details a permanent home.

A local service business

Example, not a client case: an electrician presents services, the area covered, real worksite photos and a short enquiry form.

A consultant or freelancer

Example, not a client case: a consultant explains who they work with, how a project runs and which experience is relevant.

A shop or creative business

Present your products, collection or delivery options and contact details. If you want to take online payments, an online store for your business has a different scope.

WHAT WE BUILD

The features your customers need.

Your offer in plain language

A logical page structure with your services, information about the business and a contact page. We agree on the number of pages in advance.

A distinctive, mobile-friendly website

Colours, typography and real images suit your business. Buttons, text and forms are checked on small screens too.

A manageable foundation

WordPress, a contact form and technical SEO with titles, indexing and internal links. For the full approach, read how I design and build a website.

THREE PLANS

Be clear about the total cost.

Each plan has a one-off setup fee and a recurring monthly fee, making it easier to compare like for like. Larger projects or extra features receive a separate proposal.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Understand the need. Then build.

1. Understand your business

Tell me what you do, who your customers are and what your current website is missing. I'll explain which components would help.

2. Proposal and design

We agree on content, price, schedule and terms. You review the direction and give feedback before we continue building.

3. Build and support

I build the website, test mobile usability and the form, and finish the technical foundation. Hosting and maintenance then continue as agreed.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions from business owners.

How much does a website cost?

Website starts at €199 setup + €50/month. Website Pro costs €499 setup + €75/month. For online sales, there's Online Store: €799 setup + €100/month. See the packages and what's included; we agree on any extra features in advance.

How long does it take to build a website?

That depends on the content, number of pages and features. We set out the schedule in your proposal. Having your text and photos ready, along with timely feedback, helps us keep to it.

What does the monthly fee include?

Hosting, SSL, backups, technical updates and personal support. We discuss new features, major content changes and ongoing SEO work separately. Your proposal sets out the exact scope.

Who owns the website?

We agree in writing on admin access, ownership, licences and what happens if you cancel before we begin. You'll know which files and content you can take with you and which services the monthly fee covers.

Will my website be maintained?

Yes. Technical updates and backups are part of the monthly plan. You'll continue working directly with Kevin. Find out more about the services and ongoing technical support.

What do I need to provide?

Your services, service area, contact details, logo and real photos or examples of your work. We agree on which text you provide and where I can help. Where examples are unavailable, we explain your process clearly.

Can I update text and photos myself?

Yes. Your website runs on WordPress. We agree on the content you manage yourself. Extra guidance or larger changes can be discussed separately.

Is visibility in Google guaranteed afterwards?

No. A technical SEO foundation helps search engines understand your website, but a position or number of enquiries cannot be guaranteed. Relevant content, competition and ongoing work also affect the result.

Tell me what your business needs.

An initial idea or a link to your current website is enough. I'll review your question and reply within two working days.
